Domestic Glass Repair
Glass for use in domestic properties typically comes in two varieties; single or double-glazed, with a choice of either float, toughened or laminate glass. Single-glazed windows with float glass can normally be done on a same-day service .
Our glaziers are able to replace glass from either the outside or the inside of properties, if the framework allows it. If required, we can source scaffolding and/or lifting vehicles for high glass installations.
We’re also able to remove sash windows for glass installation if the window frame is not on the ground floor.
Hook double glazing 24/7
Express Hook glaziers offer a complete double glazing service including a local double glazing installer, double glazing repairs and Hook replacement double glazing.
Double-glazed units take approximately two to three days to order, and all our units come with a manufacturers guarantee. If requested, we can replace the vacuum between the glass panes with a layer of Argon gas, to further facilitate heat management. We can also supply and install triple-glazed units on request for Hook and the local area.
